Sydney’s West is one of the city’s best kept secrets, home to a plethora of great venues, adventure activities, and opportunities to explore nature and discover Sydney’s history. Built to host the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Sydney Olympic Park is home to a variety of purpose-built complexes host sports from tennis to cricket to every code of football imaginable, as well as top local and international music acts. Sydney Olympic Park is easily accessible by public transport.

In Parramatta you can catch a rugby or soccer game at Parramatta Stadium, or head to Parramatta Park, which boasts some top outdoor festivals and events. Further West towards the Blue Mountains, Penrith is where you’ll find the Sydney International Regatta Centre, which holds top rowing events, including the Sydney International Rowing Regatta.
