Sydney Harbour Events

The oldest natural harbour in the world, the sparkling waters of Sydney Harbour are a truly spectacular sight, alive with the movement of boats, and topped off by the glorious site of the engineering marvel that is the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

There’s always something going on in Sydney Harbour; whether it's a yacht race or the fantastic New Years Eve fireworks, you’re bound to find something to float your boat.

There’s no better setting than Sydney Harbour for a spectacular day of sailing or yachting. On Australia day, the harbour hosts the annual ferrython, where Sydney's beloved First Fleet ferries race towards the finish line of the Harbour Bridge. A great way to experience the beauty of the harbour is to catch an iconic Sydney ferry. Passing by some of the harbour’s famed landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. And the harbour is also the ideal place to experience New Year’s Eve; Sydney is the New Year’s Eve capital of the world, after all.
