Enjoy true stories in an intimate environment direct from the mouth of crime boss Kate Leigh and her cohorts : Snowy (magic fingers) Mackenzie and Bludger (banjo playing) McGurk. These villains will take you back in time to the 1920's and '30's razor gang world, sharing their tricks of the trade. Watch out for your wallet and beer, they may disappear!

Surry Hills has a notorious history. The 1920's and '30s in Depression times was a very different place from its genteel character today. It was a desperately poor area, full of large Catholic families squashed into single room accomodation and was a haven for criminals of every description.

A true intimate event . Meet someone new at shared tables. On arrival an antipasto plate will be served before showtime. Dessert will be served during interval.

Jazzy Cafe Bar is the premises where Kate Leigh lived towards the end of her life, still operating her business - sly grog . An exclusive cabaret for 20 people max exploring classic inner city Sydney stories.
