Join for an extraordinary evening of art and technology as the launch of augmented reality (AR) artworks by Goya Torres is celebrated alongside the opening of "Single Channel" at MAP mima.

Step into the immersive world of "Virtual Street-art" by Goya Torres, where murals painted during her European residency come to life with augmented reality throughout the MAP mima grounds. From the pavilion to the bush and the lake, experience the fusion of art and technology as each piece, originating from cities across Europe, including Denmark, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, and Spain, is imbued with endemic animals and vegetation, symbolising the connections with nature and diversity.

Complementing the launch of the virtual landscape is "Single Channel" an exhibition curated from the National Gallery of Australia’s collection, featuring moving image artworks from 2000 to 2019 by some of Australia's most prominent artists.

"Single Channel" is a National Gallery Touring Exhibition supported by the Australian Government through the National Collection Institutions Touring and Outreach Program.
