Turn fabric scraps into functional practical and colourful rugs. Waste can be transformed into a treasured piece of floor art.
Fabric is stripped and plaited before being shaped into a rug and sewn onto a base fabric using a sewing machine. Some sewing experience is beneficial for faster results but not necessary. This activity is suitable for ages ten and older. All fabric and machines will be supplied! The event is hosted by Geckos New Tail at the Iluka Emporium.
This event is part of the Plunge Art and Cultural Festival 2024.
