Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliotts Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies. The Vale offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip, and see lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are no designated camping areas just pick a spot and set up camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire (you will need to bring your own firewood). This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy.
