HSRCA Sydney Classic at Sydney Motorsport Park

Motorsport enthusiasts are invited to Sydney Motorsport Park for the HSRCA 2025 Sydney Classic—an unmissable celebration of historic racing. This thrilling event offers edge-of-the-seat action and a rare opportunity to get up close with both the competitors and their iconic machines, in a way few motorsport events can match.

A highlight of the weekend is the showcase of Heritage Touring Cars, featuring the legendary Group C & A vehicles that once dominated Bathurst, driven by icons such as Peter Brock and Mark Skaife. These historic racers will compete in round three of their national championship.

Also returning are fan favourites HQ Racing NSW, known for their exhilarating door-to-door battles in 3.3-litre Holden HQ sedans, and MG Racing Australia, presenting a diverse lineup of powerful and rare MG models—including the only factory-built MG SV-R in existence.

The event features a full schedule of racing for historic fifth category vehicles, along with special speed events for cars built up to the 1990s and select invited entries. Spectators can expect to see an extraordinary variety of cars, many of which once competed in Formula One and other prestigious international series.
