See the blood moon phase of the lunar eclipse in March from the city's highest natural point at Sydney Observatory.

In a unique international collaboration, Powerhouse is partnering with Nagoya City Science Museum (Japan) for a live broadcast of the eclipse to international audiences.

On the night, see the eclipse from different views: in person through telescopes and through Nagoya's livestream, which will also be shown onsite. Guests are invited to view the eclipse through some of the Observatory's telescopes alongside members of the Sydney City Skywatchers astronomy society, explore the historic grounds, speak to professional astronomers and visit exhibitions including Southern Sky Astrophotography and I put the stars on the ground.

This is an outdoor event for all ages. Bring a picnic blanket or camping chair as physical seating is limited. As this event is weather dependent, it will be cancelled in case of rain or overcast conditions.
