From Griffith, head to Temora for a spectacular day out at the Warbirds Downunder Airshow at the Temora Aviation Museum. With VIP seating, beverages and lunch included. The weekend away then continues further west across the breathtaking Hay Plains.

In Hay, visit the fascinating Dunera Museum. Housed in the former Hay Railway Station, it tells the story of over 6,000 civilian internees and prisoners of war who were kept in three prison camps at Hay between 1940 and 1946.

Discover Bishop’s Lodge, an extraordinary 1888 iron house surrounded by a historic garden. At the 1878-built Hay Gaol, view an intriguing collection of artefacts and visit Shear Outback to take in a live shearing demonstration.

It’s a spectacular day out which ends perfectly with delicious cuisine at Zecca Handmade Italian, where the restaurant’s authentic recipes are generations old.
