In spring the colours and shapes of the wildflowers are there to admire. After rain there is a wide variety of fungi growing on the creek banks and fallen logs. No matter what the season there is the smooth bark of the angophoras and the delicate fronds of many varieties of ferns. Creatures to be found in the creeks include yabbies, turtles, water dragons, frogs and fish. Many birds live in the reserve including parrots, cockatoos and lorikeets which use the many tree hollows for nesting. This tour is two kilometres in return and is graded easy to medium. Wear closed comfortable shoes and a hat.

Bidjigal Reserve along the Darling Mills Creek in NW Sydney has several sites of significance to the Darug people who lived there for thousands of years. This walk will visit two important sites. The leader of the walk will be Tessa Corkhill one of the archaeologist who participated in the excavation and study of both these sites.

Enjoy the lovely scenery of the valley and learn more about bush tucker and the Aboriginal history of Sydney.
