Clovelly to Cronulla Coastal Walk

This is a great way to explore part of Sydney's spectacular coastline. Golden beaches and sandstone cliffs, great surf and wildflowers in spring are just some of the natural attractions along the 30 km route.

The first 17 km leads to Sydney's famous sandstone cliffs that extend from Clovelly to La Perouse. The second part - 13 km - runs from Captain Cook's Landing Place at Kurnell via the spectacular coastline of Kurnell Peninsula, the Aboriginal middens at Boat Harbour, to the golden sweep of Cronulla Beach and, eventually, Gunnamatta Bay Wharf. This is the jumping off point for the Royal National Park's Coast Track from Bundeena to Otford.

Walking times will vary depending on your fitness levels and whether you are side-tracked along the way. A fit person could walk from Clovelly to La Perouse in approximately six to seven hours and from Kurnell to Cronulla in approximately four to five hours.
