Hire Bikes in Sydney
Want a decent workout and a good way to discover Sydney? Hiring a bike or booking a cycling tour around the city's bike-friendly areas is the way to go.
If you're not sold on the city streets just yet, head to Centennial Park in Sydney's East. It's a safe, easy place to ride, with a 3.8km cycling and rollerblading path. The Grand Drive has a 30km per hour speed limit, and there are lots of picturesque areas to stop for a picnic along the route.
Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches is also ideal for exploring on a bike. You'll discover secluded beaches and coves and spectacular coastal views as you pedal around the harbour.
You'll also find over 35km of cycle pathways around Sydney Olympic Park, many weaving around rare mangroves, parklands and the Parramatta River. Bike hire is available every day of the week with a range of cycles to choose from. Or, head to Audley in the Royal National Park, about an hour from Sydney, where you can hire a mountain bike and explore the trails in the Park.
