Accor Stadium (also known as Stadium Australia) is one of Australia’s premier sport and entertainment venues. Built in 1999 for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games, it currently holds up to 82,500 people and hosts a range of events like the NRL’s State of Origin, huge international music acts, international soccer matches and international cricket.
The stadium sits at the centre of Sydney Olympic Park, a sport and adventure playground, that includes Olympic-standard swimming pools, an archery centre and parklands that house mangroves and one of Sydney’s best playgrounds.
