Bard On The Beach: Avalon - Northern Beaches

performing for Shakespeare By The Bay

Friday 04 March to Sunday 28 January 2018

In 2017, Bard On The Beach (BOTB) will be presenting William Shakespeare's beautiful play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet and the very funny and unexpected The Merry Wives of Windsor, at Dunbar Park, just off Avalon Beach.
They are proud of their Sydney summer experience: classical theatre as it was meant to be: raw, traditional, honest and entertaining, and all while you picnic under the stars as the waves roll nearby. There really is no other theatre company like this.
The season begins at Balmoral Beach Band Rotunda, running Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Then on to Dunbar Park, Avalon for two weekends, one weekend at Gunnamatta Park, Cronulla, and to The Greek Theatre, Addison Road Community Centre, Marrickville, after that, finally ending the season in April at Robertson Park, Watsons Bay.
