Camp in safari tents in the heart of Australia's most famous zoo, and wake to spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Roar and Snore is a fully hosted experience that includes architecturally designed tents, a sumptuous roast feast, drinks in the main tent and up-close animal encounters. It offers a unique opportunity to stay in Taronga Zoo's campsite with views of Sydney Harbour on one side and Lions, Snow Leopards and Meerkats on the other.

Wake the next morning to a glorious sunrise, the roar of a lion or an elephant trumpeting as you prepare to experience the Zoo before the crowds. Feed a giraffe or pat a seal as you go behind the scenes to learn the secrets of this famous and fascinating Zoo.

Safari Tent Package. Child rate AUD195.00 per head. Adult rate AUD290.00 per head. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. Rates for children aged five to 17 years old only. The tents are just a few steps from Sydney's best view and are furnished with fully dressed double and single beds - all linen is provided. In fact, the only thing that you need to bring to this extraordinary experience is a sense of adventure. All bookings per tent are a minimum of two persons. The maximum capacity per tent is four persons and children must be accompanied by an adult. Roar and Snore is an all weather event. On family nights there is a maximum of three children per adult.
