Ever wanted to swim with sharks without a cage? The exhilarating experience is available at Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary in Sydney. Enter the water with Shark Dive Xtreme, an adrenalin-pumping adventure with grey nurse sharks and other smaller species of sharks
You’ll dive with sharks up to three metres long as well as giant stingrays, sea turtles and an array of other marine life. No diving experience is necessary and all equipment is provided for the 30-minute dive. An option includes diving when the sharks are being hand-fed.
Shark dives operate several times daily. Shark feeds are only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Other experiences at the sanctuary include the underwater viewing tunnel in the enormous aquarium and Penguin Cove, home to little penguins, the smallest of all penguins.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is open daily from 9.30am to 5.00pm, except Christmas Day. From Circular Quay, the main ferry terminal for the city centre, you take a ferry across Sydney Harbour to Manly. The journey is 30 minutes and the sanctuary is a short walk from Manly Wharf.
