Double Bay dining has had taste injected into it. Botox and Blahniks aside, this fashion focussed land of plastic cards, surgery and shoes often slips on the culinary catwalk. Now Simon Goh, the Manolo of Malaysian, has arrived. His petite 16-seater Chinta Kechil, rocks a traditional décor and stylish hawker food. Laksa is lavished with flavour. It's plus size prawns, slender sliced fish cake, and puffy fried tofu have people talking.
