Salty Boat Hire is a family business based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. They have 40 years of experience on Sydney Harbour. Salty has a fleet of luxury sailing yachts and small drive yourself powerboats. Sailing yachts come with a skipper and the drive yourself vessels require no license!

They offer 4 hour skippered charters on the sailing yachts and are suitable for up to 15 people. An informative yacht charter skipper / instructor aboard who provides commentary and basic training. Have a go at steering, trimming sails and grinding winches! Cruise throughout Sydney Harbour past the Opera House and under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House all the way to Rose Bay past all the wonderful waterfront homes and vibrant waterway. Anchoring and swimming in a harbour bay is also popular.

The self-drive boats are suitable for a family or group of up to 6 persons that want to enjoy Sydney Harbour, cruising under the Harbour Bridge, past the Opera House, anchoring in one of the wonderful bays, fishing and swimming. The hire fleet is available from half-day (4 hours) to full-day (8 hours) sessions.

Each hirer receives a full safety and operations briefing prior to departure, so all crew will feel confident and ready to head off on their adventure.
