Profiled on de groots media: With sparkling views over the water and a prime position between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, Quay is synonymous with everything that is great about dining in Sydney – fabulous location, friendly service and fresh seafood. Situated at the northern end of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Quay has undergone a name change and a spruce up to reflect the philosophy of the restaurant’s namesake. The Doyle name is a guarantee that the menu will boast superior seafood dishes and Peter Doyle at the Quay does not disappoint.
On a glorious Sydney day the only place to be is at an alfresco table by the edge of the harbour, with a chilled bottle of Australian white wine, a dozen oysters and an afternoon to while away. If the weather lets you down head on in to the stylish surrounds of the restaurant, where the views are just as good as those you see outside.
