Le Foote was a long-awaited Sydney restaurant – after months of restoration and renovation, the rabbit warren-like venue opened in a heritage-listed space in The Rocks.

Part Parisian wine bar, part Mediterranean grill, this venue courtesy of influential hospitality group Swillhouse (the same company behind Restaurant Hubert, Shady Pines Saloon and Alberto’s Lounge) brings an intimate, European-style dining experience to the CBD (the waiters wear white shirts and ties).

Dine here for dishes cooked over coal and the opportunity to bask in the loveliness of the Greco-Roman-style mosaic mural in the back dining space. The two-sip negronis and martinis also make for a fun time.
