Circular Quay Events

Sydney’s Circular Quay is the main departure point for Sydney’s ferries, and is famous around the world for its iconic architecture; the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the unbeatable vantage points for the Sydney New Years Eve fireworks.

Circular Quay is also home to the inner-city suburb of The Rocks, a must-visit neighbourhood with its heritage architecture, plethora of cafes and restaurants, art galleries, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), designer fashion and quality souvenir stores, and its status as a Sydney suburb of great historical importance.

Circular Quay hosts events that emphasise the beauty of the city and its harbour year-round, such as the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks in summer, and the Vivid Sydney Festival in June, and the launch of the annual Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race on Boxing Day.
