Named after Barbara Streisand, Babs is a pop-up wine bar celebrating women in the hospitality industry, including wine makers. The space is all timber bench tables, wall counter seating and wood-framed walls, with soft lighting, bespoke ceramics and a Barbra Streisand album on every table.
Open for three months from mid-September to mid-December, it’s the perfect place for a glass or two of something interesting, paired with Euro-focused bar snacks like pickled sardines and chicken-liver gougeres, as well as house-made pasta – the menu changes regularly, depending on what the team can get their hands on.
