Step Out for Cancer by Tour de Cure

Every month 86 kids are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. Step Out for Cancer is a new, all-ages event from Tour de Cure, in partnership with Children's Cancer Institute and the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation.

The inaugural Step Out for Cancer will take place in Sydney's most iconic sporting venues: the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Allianz Stadium and Royal Randwick Racecourse. Walk or run, then follow up your fitness-fuelled fun with live music, food trucks and entertainment.

Walk - a 6km stadium walk – an exclusive adventure trail through Allianz Stadium and the SCG, then across to Randwick Racecourse, with some special stops along the way.

Run - 5km or 10km - on the Royal Randwick Racecourse, a tailored track with live entertainment and surprises to help you power through.

Enjoy games, activities and giveaway from Sydney's biggest sports clubs including the Rabbitohs, Roosters, GWS Giants, Sydney FC and the Sydney Sixers.

Come together to celebrate at the finish line festival at Royal Randwick's Theatre of the Horse with roaming entertainers, DJs, food trucks, all-ages activities, and live music from Furnace & the Fundamentals, the Voice Australia finalists and more!

Funds raised will go directly to the Minderoo Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MCCCC) - the first facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, where researchers and clinicians will work side-by-side to accelerate lifesaving discoveries.
