The State Library of NSW is a unique cultural institution with an amazing history and internationally renowned collection.

Visit the Library and experience the beautiful architecture of the Mitchell Library Reading Room and Shakespeare Room, or enjoy the vibrant public events and changing exhibitions program.

There is free internet and Wi-Fi access, and the Cafe Trim is open seven days a week. The Library Shop is Sydney's premier Australiana bookshop, and fine art prints from the collection are available for purchase.

Have at least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high)

Have lifts with enough space for people using a mobility aid to enter and turn around to use the lift buttons. Buttons are at accessible height.
