Tall shady trees, generous grassy areas, views of the city skyline and bush walks are just a few of the reasons to visit Bowen Mountain Park.

Take a break, relax and enjoy the serenity at the picnic tables and make use of the electric barbecue facilities for your picnic lunch. Toilets are also available. There are no shops at Bowen Mountain, and the closest village is Kurrajong, so please bring all you need with you.

Kids will love the modern playground, complete with slides, swings, climbing gear, and a see-saw, all set on soft-fall ground. Bowen Mountain also has some bushwalks located nearby to the park.

The play area is shaded by mature trees, and they are mainly natives such as Turpentine trees, Red Cedar and Eucalypts. You will also find an English Oak, a Cork Tree and a small Bunya Pine.

You will find the park by turning right at the T junction onto Lieutenant Bowen Road, continue north past Bunya Crescent.
