Until the Sky Falls Quiet - Addi Road Community Organisation
Overview
Until the Sky Falls Quiet follows Dr Siraj Sira and Dr Sanjay Adusumilli, two Australian doctors from Western Sydney who volunteer to go on a medical mission to Gaza in 2024.
Filmed in real time with much of the footage captured by the doctors themselves, Until the Sky Falls Quiet is a rare and intimate record of bearing witness in the world's largest 'open air prison'. Through their eyes and first-hand testimonies, the documentary shows the resilience and humanity of Palestinians living and working under siege - it captures not only the loss endured, but also the courage and compassion that persist amidst devastation.
Until the Sky Falls Quiet is about our humanity, about refusing to look away, even when what is seen is unbearable.
Please note: the documentary is subtitled in English and Arabic.
The documentary has been rated by the Australian Classification Board as MA15+ due to strong injury detail and disturbing images. If children under 15 would like to watch the film, then they must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian for the duration of the film and it is the parent or adult guardian who must also be the one purchasing the ticket.
