Luca Bakery
Overview
Luca Bakery is named after co-owner Larissa Takchi's son – it's one of the cafe's many personal elements. Visitors are welcome to leave a meaningful recipe for bakers to recreate here: that's how an Eastern European grandmother's Medovik honey cake ended up on the menu. There's also brown-butter strawberry cake, mega-sized marshmallows and roasted peach tarts which showcase fruit from a local farm. Don't miss the bakery's tribute to the classic Arnott's Monte Carlo: these giant honey biscuits are filled with salted vanilla buttercream and raspberry compote that's so good, staff also spoon it into the matcha cloud drink.
