A new season begins. A new chapter starts. And before the first ball is tipped, history will be made as the Sydney Kings raise their 6th Championship Banner to the rafters.

Be there as the Kings celebrate their legacy and launch their NBL27 campaign.

There's no easing into the season either. The Cairns Taipans stunned Sydney in last year's opener at Afterpay Arena, before the Kings responded with one of their most impressive comeback wins of the season in Far North Queensland. Expect another fierce battle as both teams look to make an early statement.

Adding another layer to the occasion is the return of three-time Kings champion Shaun Bruce, who makes his first appearance at Afterpay Arena in Cairns colours.

It's also your first chance to see the next era of Kings basketball, including the debut of exciting recruit Jayden Stone in purple and gold.

To mark the occasion, every fan in attendance will receive a free rally towel thanks to Harvey Norman, ensuring the opener is louder than ever.

A banner raising. A champion's return. A new season begins. Don't miss the opening night.
