Camden Art Collections: Part 2
Overview
Camden Art Collections Part 2 showcases a curated selection from the Camden Art Collection: an evolving contemporary archive of more than 200 artworks gathered over the past 46 years. Spanning painting, works on paper, sculpture, textiles and more, the collection reflects the diverse and continually shifting creative landscape of the Macarthur region.
This exhibition highlights artworks acquired through the annual acquisitive Camden Art Prize, alongside purchased and gifted pieces collected between 1988 and 2003. Included are significant works from Camden's sister cities, Shonan and Kashiwa (Japan), shared through the Camden International Friendship Association (CIFA).
