School Holiday Drop-in Activity: A Day in the Life of a Soldier
Overview
Have you ever been curious about how a soldier lives in the field, or wondered what they eat or how they sleep?
Visit the Anzac Memorial these school holidays for a hands-on experience of a day in the life of a soldier.
Touch and wear real military equipment and uniforms with their sensory trolley and have a close-up look at a special tent soldiers use to keep themselves warm and dry at night, set up inside their Auditorium.
The Anzac Memorial team are excited to share their knowledge and guide you through all these interesting objects and what they are used for.
This hands-on experience will hold two sessions per day including a neuroinclusive session each day. Drop in at any time during your allotted session.
This program is ideal for children aged five plus. Tickets are AUD5 per child, and accompanying adults are free. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A complimentary copy of the Anzac Memorial Family Discovery Trail will be provided to each ticket holder.
The activity will be held on their Lower Ground Level. Entry is via Liverpool Street.
Bookings are essential.
