Boatique Sydney Boat Hire and Tours specialises in self drive boat hire on Sydney Harbour, where visitors take the helm of their own boat with no boat licence required. Every hire begins with a full safety briefing and a short test drive, so first time boaters can set off with confidence.
The self drive fleet departs from The Spit Reserve in Mosman and from Double Bay. Coral is an easy to drive cruiser for up to six guests, with a shade canopy and a swim platform. Marlow is a fully shaded family day boat for up to eight, with a toilet on board. Frankie is a barbecue pontoon built for floating picnics, with gas supplied and an esky on board. Licence holders can also take the Axopar 28 sports cruiser.
Fuel, life jackets and safety equipment are included, along with a harbour map showing swim spots, anchorages and no go zones. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Popular runs take in Balmoral, Chinamans Beach and Shark Island.
Skippered hire is also available, and the team acts as a boat hire agency, matching groups to charter boats across Sydney Harbour for corporate events and celebrations. Regular boaters can join the Boatique Boat Club for ongoing access to the water.
