Don't miss this rare performance of Morris Gleitzman's powerful monologue, Loyal Creatures. It's a stirring story of the friendship between a 16-year-old boy and his horse in the Great War, based on the experiences of the men and horses of the Australian Light Horse.

This deeply moving tale of loyalty, courage and mateship will be followed by a private after-hours tour of the Memorial, focusing on the vital service of animals throughout Australia's military history.

From the representation of animals in the art and architecture of the Anzac Memorial building, to stories housed in our Centenary Exhibition, the tour will explore the significant contribution our four-legged friends have made to Australian military service.
