Firestick is a new conversation series featuring First Nations trailblazers who are lighting the way for future generations.

This First Nations–led conversation series is designed to ignite dialogue and broaden perspectives. Held at The Mint, Firestick provides a welcoming and timely platform that encourages meaningful discussion and a deeper understanding of Indigenous innovation and agency.

The Game Changers focuses on the growing number of Aboriginal game developers in the video game industry, and the unique opportunities for the future of the industry in Australia. Guest speakers include Phoebe Watson, lead game designer at GUCK, a First Nations–led gaming company who have been developing Blaktasia, Australia's first ever Aboriginal mobile game. Phoebe will be in conversation with industry veteran and leader Ben Armstrong.

Continue the conversation in the Mint courtyard afterwards. Food and drinks will be available on the night.

Free event, registration recommended.
