Join then as they celebrate NAIDOC Week – "Fifty Years of Deadly" with a powerful morning of culture, connection, and community at our Flag Raising Ceremony.
This special milestone honours the strength and legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through a moving Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country, followed by a Mayoral Message.
The celebration continues with a vibrant community event featuring information stalls and services, a community BBQ, native workshops, storytelling, and an engaging didgeridoo workshop.
Together, recognise the past, celebrate the present, and look to the future—standing strong in culture and community.
