Hear from featured author at the Sydney Writers Festival, Alexandra Lapierre about her novel The Very Secretive and Passionate Stella Miles Franklin – a story about Miles Franklin, a local Carlton Woman who redefined Australian literature.

Experience performances by local artists and storytelling and talks from local historians and authors.

This event is funded by TfNSW, and is in collaboration with The Carlton School of Art, Shopfront Arts Co-Op and the St George Historical Society.

The Stories on Parade event is the culmination of the initiatives delivered by the program and aims to invite the community to discover the improved local precinct.
