Environmental Activist, Founder of the Foundation named in his honour, Bob Brown AM sits down with Pulitzer Prize winning writer Geraldine Brooks AO, to discuss his life in environmental activism. Bob Brown has been the recipient of numerous awards, recognising his contribution to conservation, including the Australian Peace Prize (2009), the Goldman Environmental Award (1990) and Australian of the Year (1983). Geraldine Brooks AO is an Australian-American journalist and novelist whose 2005 novel March won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

From 5–7 December, Avalon, Whale and Palm Beaches transform for a weekend of music, art, dance, creativity and fun. The Deep North Festival welcomes both locals and visitors to a destination of culture and connection.
