The wild and ruggedly beautiful Snowy Mountains contain all of Australia’s highest peaks. Traverse the most spectacular tracks in the Australian Alps, staying overnight in secluded ski villages right in the middle of the park.

On this walk, you will see an ancient landscape carved out by receding glaciers of the last Ice Age, enjoy lunch beside the Blue Lake and walk through snowgum woodlands and colourful alpine meadows. In summer, the wildflowers have to be seen to be believed. Brumbies roam the mountainsides and there’s a possibility of spotting one. As you walk from village to village, classic views dominate, some of them are simply just astonishing.

The ascent of the highest mountain in Australia, via the Blue Lake and Caruthers Saddle, Mt Kosciuszko is one of Australia’s most epic walks. On the last day, you take the chairlift ride back to the top and walk down to Thredbo via Dead Horse Gap to cap off what is an amazing unbroken linear trek through the Alps.

This is a world class, fully inclusive experience where you will be supported all the way.

Does not cater for people with access needs.
