Singletons Retreat

Overview

Singletons Retreat is located on the Hawkesbury River, down river from Wisemans Ferry and is a river front property surrounded by National Park.

The Cottage was built in about 1865 on one of the first settled properties in this part of the Hawkesbury River. It was originally owned by James Singleton who, with his brother Benjamin Singleton operated the biggest tidal mill from the 1830s onwards. Singletons Mill supplied flour grown from the local area which was taken by sail ship to the colony at Sydney Cove.

The cottage has all the modern facilities and comforts to help you relax as you watch the ever changing landscape.

Singletons Retreat is pet friendly so you can relax and have the comfort of knowing your pet is with you.
