Overview

The Australian World Orchestra presents the AWO SIX; a formidable cast of virtuosic musicians together for one night only to perform an exciting and intimate chamber performance of Mendelssohn and Brahms not to be missed.

Programme:
Felix Mendelssohn’s – String Quintet No. 2, Op.87 in B flat major.

Johanne Brahms’ – String Sextet No.2, Op.36, in G major.

After presenting large-scale orchestral concerts in Melbourne and Canberra, the AWO strips down to the bareness of a beautiful intimate chamber setting for Sydney audiences.
