The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon

The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon will return to its world famous course on Sunday, 19 May 2019.

More than 13,000 entrants are expected at the prestigious race, which takes runners on a spectacular 21.1km course taking in some of Sydney’s best views including; the Opera House, Botanic Gardens, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Pyrmont Peninsula and Hyde Park.

The most impressive race of its kind in Australia, the Half Marathon attracts a mix of local, interstate and overseas runners, coming together to challenge themselves and achieve a personal best in a stunning location.

Runners of every caliber are invited to rise to the challenge and choose from the individual Half Marathon or share the experience with family and friends by entering as a relay team. Split in two, an 11km and a 10km leg, the relay provides the perfect opportunity for new runners finding their feet at distance running.

For those looking for training and guidance to achieve their half marathon goal, JORG will be providing participants with free and exclusive access to 10 weeks of training plans, sessions and tips commencing on March 11.
