Redfern and Waterloo

From cutting-edge shows and galleries to a vibrant market and a buzzing cafe and bar scene, Redfern and Waterloo are lively inner Sydney destinations. Carriageworks is the creative and delicious heart, a multi-venue performance space in colonial rail yards and home to Carriageworks Farmers Market.

Getting to the beautifully converted Eveleigh rail yards is easy – a short train trip from the city centre to Redfern and then a 15-minute walk. You’ll find delicious seasonal produce every Saturday at the bustling all-weather farmers market. The eclectic events include theatre, music, dance and festivals.
