In this speciality workshop, they will cover the foundations of hula hoop dance with on-body moves like waist hooping, how to control and save the hula hoop from falling down and starting to unlock movement and dance at the same time! They also work on off-body moves, using their hands, arms and legs. It’s a full body workout, man! But guess what? You’ll be having so much fun you won’t even be thinking about the burn!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be rocking a full hula hoop dance routine.
This intro to Hula Hoop Dance workshop is suitable for absolute beginners. No hula hoop experience necessary. Couldn’t hoop as a kid? Neither could your instructor Caitlyn.
It can be full on trying something new, especially something a little outside of the square like hula hoop dance. Come prepared to laugh, at yourself and everyone else.
