The Animated Harpsichord

Sydney-based harpsichordist, Heath Henn, is joined by critically acclaimed visual artist, Todd Fuller, in an exhilarating collaboration which combines 16th-century keyboard music with 21st-century visual projections. Featuring keyboard works by Tallis, Merulo and Bull.

Heath Henn is a Sydney-based harpsichordist and pianist with a versatile solo repertoire spanning from the Renaissance to the contemporary. A current doctoral candidate at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Heath is undertaking research on the embellishment techniques in late-Renaissance Venetian keyboard works.

Todd Fuller graduated from Sydney's National Art School in 2010, since then he has established himself as an influential artist, curator and educator. Fuller's practice integrates sculpture, animation, drawing, performance and painting to construct layered, multi-disciplinary narratives. Fuller has exhibited across Australia and internationally including the United States, Italy, France, South Korea, Bangladesh, England, Singapore and Malta.

The Flying Nun is a showcase of the outcomes from Performing Arts residencies with Brand X at the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre. By its very nature, we celebrate the fringe, alternative and contemporary counter-culture. Come and be the first audience to witness new work by local Artists fresh out of the rehearsal room.
