Aging goddesses of the Silver Screen. A legendary feud. A bitter brawl. An unlikely alliance?

Liesel has been making theatre and live performance work for the last 20 years. In 1999 she founded her company Loose Canon Arts and with this company have made work (writing, producing, devising, performing) for young audiences and toured extensively and annually throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Since graduating from the School of Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong Drew has worked internationally as an actor, writer and director. Drew has had a long association with actress/comedian Kate Smith and together they have written and performed three plays – Bangers and Mash, The No Chance in Hell Hotel and The Unspeakable Itch- the first two of which toured extensively through Australia, The UK, The US and Hong Kong.

The Flying Nun is a showcase of the outcomes from Performing Arts residencies with Brand X at the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre. By its very nature, they celebrate the fringe, alternative and contemporary counter-culture. Come and be the first audience to witness new work by local Artists fresh out of the rehearsal room.
