This rose garden at Khancoban was established in 1959, and is a commemoration of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority's 50th Anniversary.

The Rose Garden was dedicated by Lady Hudson and is of particular pride to the residents of Khancoban and surrounding areas.
