Why go there

This quaint township has changed little since its inception. Its appeal lies in its sleepy and relaxed atmosphere, broad streetscapes and historic wrought iron verandahs.

History

The town of Coolamon was established about the time the railway arrived in 1881, although wheat had been cultivated in the area since 1850.
