Tulip Time Bowral 2008 theme is - "Shine Light and Colour on Depression and Mental Illness". Maggie Tabberer is the Tulip Time Ambassador with many new and exciting events planned for 2008.
Bowral Tulip Time is one of Australia's oldest and most beautiful flora festivals, and Australia's premier event. Corbett Gardens has over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals on spectacular display. The Festival includes a variety of Food and Craft Stalls, Entertainment including clowns, music, folk dancers and daily "Talks and Tours" of Corbett Gardens. The first weekend will feature a Food and Wine Festival, which showcases local produce and local wine and the long weekend will see our ever popular Specialist Garden Show, which features specialist Nurseries in Corbett Gardens. Why not enjoy the annual Street Parade on Saturday 27 September, this commences at 2.00pm with our Ambassador, Maggie Tabberer leading the parade.
Visit some of Australia’s best and most beautiful private gardens which are open to the public during Tulip Time. Each private garden conducts talks and tours by the owners or head gardeners.
