Sydney Royal National Park Photography Tour

This six hour tour ticks all the boxes with is magnificent panoramas as you journey south from Sydney through Bundeena and the Royal National Park to the harbour city of Wollongong. An early morning start time is from Audley Village in the national park with its adjacent rain forest and Hacking River Start at dawn on the cliff tops of the South Pacific Ocean as the sun rises. The rock formations which are old sea bed were created by a range of volcanos which built the east coast of Australia 240 million years ago. The cliffs and rainforest support a range of wildlife including resident Sea Eagles. You may see a variety of fauna, including migrating whales in May, June and July. As the tour move south through the park you will visit beaches, inlets and lookouts. Refreshments can be obtained at a number of location on the journey. The tour finishes at picturesque harbour city of Wollongong with its own small fishing fleet and double lighthouses. Sydney's Hidden Gems Photography Tour

You do not visit the finest harbour in the world and not see beautiful panoramas. Discover Sydney's heritage, convict history and the superb back streets and alleyways. Photograph the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Opera House. Moving on around Circular Quay, enter the Rocks and investigate its narrow streets and secret alleyways with their treasures from the earliest days of Australia. Here is where it all happened after 1788. Whaling, thieves, gangs, the plague and prostitution are all part of Sydney's past. Visit the observatory named after a Marine officer, stand on the guns as you look over the gorgeous Sydney Harbour. Walk under the bridge pylons as you make your way back to Circular Quay past the International Terminal. There may be a food market operating, the tourist shops will certainly be open. Walk the foreshore of Farm Cove and Campbells Cove at the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. These are the final sites of Sydney after rejection of Botany Bay. Royal National Park Coastal Photography Tour

Your three hour nature tour starts with pickup from the Sutherland Railway Station for the drive to Royal National Park, stopping for photo opportunities at Audley on the Hacking River. Discover the natural beauty of Royal National Park on a full-day photography tour from Sydney. Your guide, an experienced photographer will take you to spectacular locations in the park at the northern end of the park. These locations include: The Hacking River; Audley village; Village of Bundeena; Port Hacking; Wattamolla, mid week only; Coastal Track, look for sea eagles, migrating southern right and humpback whales in September, October and November. This ancient coastline which was created by a string of volcanoes 240 million years ago provides a variety of shapes, colours, and textures. Keep your camera handy, your photographer-guide will point out the best locations throughout the journey. A 800 metre walk to the sandstone cliffs for sunrise or early-morning-light photography reveals a stunning range of colours in the sandstone. The colours change as the sun rises and views sharpen revealing panorama with a horizon 100 kilometres south. Refreshments are not included but available in the park and local villages.
