Sydney Harbour Circle Walk
Sydney Harbour is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world and the 60 km Harbour Circle Walk is one of the best ways to explore it. Focusing on Sydney Harbour itself, the walk introduces the city's meandering waterways, bridges, small harbour islands and harbourside bushland.
The north side of the walk includes the stretch from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Hunters Hill and takes about five hours' walking time. The south side is 14 km and also takes around five hours to complete.
Historic highlights along the way include the Balmain Watchhouse, Cadman's Cottage, Hunters Hill Museum, the Justice and Police Museum, the Museum Contemporary Art Australia, the Museum of Sydney, the Australian National Maritime Museum, Sydney Observatory and the Rocks Discovery Museum.
