Manly to Spit Bridge Coastal Walk
Sydney's beaches, bays and inlets and cliff tops are some of Australia's most beautiful and environmentally-diverse natural attractions. A great way to explore the harbour is on the Manly to Spit Bridge Walk.
The 10 km walk is well sign-posted and takes around 3-4 hours to complete it, depending on your fitness level. If you'd rather do just a section, it's easy to dip in and out of the walk.
Beginning at the Spit Bridge end, the walk meanders around the shoreline to Fisher Bay, Sandy Bay and Clontarf Beach before entering Sydney Harbour National Park at Castle Rock. You then head past Middle Head, heading towards Manly via Dobroyd Head. Take a break here to soak up views of the harbour.
Look out for Reef Beach and Forty Baskets Beach, both perfect for a quick dip in the clear waters of Sydney Harbour before you arrive in Manly. Catch the ferry back to the city.
